- REuse Economy Expo 2026 -

The 2026 edition of REuse Economy Expo was held for the first time at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on May 19 and 20, bringing together 3,741 participants.

The event showcased nearly 500 solutions across six major exhibition sectors : Packaging, Electrical Equipment and Batteries, Textiles, Furniture and Objects, Construction and Building, and Consulting and Support Services. It also featured 88 sessions led by 220 speakers.

This edition also confirmed the event’s growing international reach, with 44 countries represented, an expanded English-language program, speakers from numerous European and international markets, and a stronger presence of international exhibitors and delegations. This momentum reinforces REuse Economy Expo’s position as a European meeting point for reuse stakeholders.

Held under the High Patronage of the President of the French Republic, this edition was also inaugurated by his visit. Emmanuel Macron chose REuse Economy Expo as the venue to hold an Ecological Planning Council, attended by Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu and 10 members of the French Government.

The central theme of this edition, “How can we accelerate reuse across all sectors ?”, highlighted the need for a cross-sector approach as a prerequisite for industrializing reuse and scaling it up.

Here, we REinvent the economy.

2026 Theme : "Drive reuse across all sectors"

REuse Economy Expo 2026 marked a major milestone in the cross-sector structuring of the reuse ecosystem in Europe and internationally.

This theme fostered the emergence of cross-cutting topics such as the use of digital technologies and traceability through Digital Product Passports, the financing and insurance of reused products, and shared consumer-related challenges such as feedstock management and product refurbishment through washing, repair, and reconditioning.

A core part of the event’s DNA, the sharing of expertise and experience across sectors enabled the reuse economy to move further along the path toward scaling up.

Exhibition Areas

Following a 2025 edition structured around four sectors (Packaging, Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE), Furniture and Objects, and Consulting and Transition Support), REuse Economy Expo 2026 welcomed two new key sectors at the heart of the event : Textile and Construction and Building.

New for the 2026 Edition : Thematic Guided Tours

For the first time, the event offered visitors thematic guided tours led by an expert guide.

Designed to provide a practical and operational perspective on REuse Economy Expo, these one-hour tours enabled participants to explore a specific sector, discover carefully selected solutions, and engage directly with the stakeholders implementing them.

Eight tours were offered throughout the event :

  • Introduction to the REuse Economy Tour
  • Professional Packaging Tour
  • Solutions for Retailers
  • Solutions for the Food Service Industry
  • Solutions for Manufacturers
  • Île-de-France Tour, dedicated to the Public Bulk and Reuse Ambassador Program
  • Packaging Tour, led by Go Unpackaged
  • Guided Tour for Members of Parliament and Parliamentary Inquiry Rapporteurs

These tours enabled participants to make the most of their visit, connect with key reuse stakeholders, and discover practical solutions that could be directly applied to their own challenges.

They share their vision

As we design a new future based on reuse and the Circular Economy, it is essential that we have forums in which all the existing and new actors can come together to learn, plan and collaborate - the Reuse Economy Expo is Europe’s leading event in the reuse space and the highlight of our calendar !

Catherine CONWAY

Reuse Economy Expo is a must-attend event that once brought together bulk and packaging reuse stakeholders and will soon encompass all sectors. Attending this trade fair offers the opportunity to discover the latest innovations and new reuse solutions, engage with industry players to find synergies, and share progress on major projects like ReUse. Ultimately, it is an excellent way to feel that the world is evolving thanks to everyone’s commitment.

Jean HORNAIN

Reuse is emerging as a concrete and essential response to environmental and social challenges. The REuse Economy Expo is an opportunity to dive into the innovations and solutions that are shaping the future of reuse. It is also an opportunity to meet committed players from all sectors and explore new dynamics for reuse on a large scale. For GS1 France, it is an opportunity to gather information on reuse needs in order to co-develop standards for the circular economy.

Natacha MOINARD

The only way to reduce the pressure of human activities on the environment is to significantly increase the intensity of product use of all kinds ; recycling should only be a complement to the reuse economy.

Fabrice BONNIFET

The European Union is at the crossroads of being at the forefront of environmental protection and pushing for economic competitiveness. The Reuse Economy represents the opportunity to overcome this dilemma and allow us to gain a strategic advantage by becoming more autonomous and resilient in an increasingly challenging and unstable world. REuse Economy Expo is the place to be for making this opportunity a reality.

Fernando RODRIGUEZ-MATA

Reuse is moving beyond pilot projects to become real-world infrastructure. REuse Economy Expo is one of the rare places where all the key players of the reuse ecosystem come together : brands, retailers, operators, policymakers, investors and solution providers.
With its focus on accelerating reuse across all sectors, the Expo offers a unique space to turn ambition into operational reality.
