The 2026 edition of REuse Economy Expo was held for the first time at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on May 19 and 20, bringing together 3,741 participants.

The event showcased nearly 500 solutions across six major exhibition sectors : Packaging, Electrical Equipment and Batteries, Textiles, Furniture and Objects, Construction and Building, and Consulting and Support Services. It also featured 88 sessions led by 220 speakers.

This edition also confirmed the event’s growing international reach, with 44 countries represented, an expanded English-language program, speakers from numerous European and international markets, and a stronger presence of international exhibitors and delegations. This momentum reinforces REuse Economy Expo’s position as a European meeting point for reuse stakeholders.

Held under the High Patronage of the President of the French Republic, this edition was also inaugurated by his visit. Emmanuel Macron chose REuse Economy Expo as the venue to hold an Ecological Planning Council, attended by Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu and 10 members of the French Government.

The central theme of this edition, “How can we accelerate reuse across all sectors ?”, highlighted the need for a cross-sector approach as a prerequisite for industrializing reuse and scaling it up.

Here, we REinvent the economy.

2026 Theme : "How Can We Accelerate Reuse Across All Sectors ?"

REuse Economy Expo 2026 marked a major milestone in the cross-sector structuring of the reuse ecosystem in Europe and internationally.

This theme fostered the emergence of cross-cutting topics such as the use of digital technologies and traceability through Digital Product Passports, the financing and insurance of reused products, and shared consumer-related challenges such as feedstock management and product refurbishment through washing, repair, and reconditioning.

A core part of the event’s DNA, the sharing of expertise and experience across sectors enabled the reuse economy to move further along the path toward scaling up.

Exhibition Areas

Following a 2025 edition structured around four sectors (Packaging, Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE), Furniture and Objects, and Consulting and Transition Support), REuse Economy Expo 2026 welcomed two new key sectors at the heart of the event : Textile and Construction and Building.

New for the 2026 Edition : Thematic Guided Tours

For the first time, the event offered visitors thematic guided tours led by an expert guide.

Designed to provide a practical and operational perspective on REuse Economy Expo, these one-hour tours enabled participants to explore a specific sector, discover carefully selected solutions, and engage directly with the stakeholders implementing them.

Eight tours were offered throughout the event :

Introduction to the REuse Economy Tour
Professional Packaging Tour
Solutions for Retailers
Solutions for the Food Service Industry
Solutions for Manufacturers
Île-de-France Tour, dedicated to the Public Bulk and Reuse Ambassador Program
Packaging Tour, led by Go Unpackaged
Guided Tour for Members of Parliament and Parliamentary Inquiry Rapporteurs

These tours enabled participants to make the most of their visit, connect with key reuse stakeholders, and discover practical solutions that could be directly applied to their own challenges.
